The Summer of 2009 saw the Idealists conducting workshops for 300 children aged between 8 and 16 years.
Promoted by the Pandit Deen Dayal Petroleum University as part of its corporate social responsibility program, the workshop for under privileged children dealt with sessions in Computer skills, Spoken English and Art and Craft.
Children from villages around Ahmedabad attended these.
It was an educational experience and fun for teachers and children alike!
The Idealists formed some pretty strong bonds with some of the kids and tearful farewells accompanied the last days’ festivities!
