Ahaliya

A legend from ancient mythology featuring Ahaliya emerging from the rock and earth after being freed by Ram. Here the artist shows Ahaliya emerging free from the old rigid values which enslaved her..proud of her feminity and sexuality. Not needing vindication by any man.

The artist has used the techniques of traditional Stained Glass. The form of Ahaliya is sculpted out of a single piece of glass and is then sandblasted.

Horus ,The Falcon God

A stained glass panel featuring Horus the falcon God of ancient Egypt. The sun disc on his head symbolising his power and strength recieved from Re the Sun God.

The panel is executed in sandblasting with stained glass and glass painting. All the hieroglyphics are deeply engraved and appear in relief. The artist has incorporated a lot of gold leaf in this panel in keeping with the theme.

The Ras

The panel is executed in Stained glass and sandblasting The artist has used simplified and almost impressionistic forms to convey the thought of a spiritual rising.

The Birth of Narcisuss

A Traditional Stained Glass panel inspired by Salvador Dali's famous painting, this panel portrays the birth of Narcisuss from the very Daliesque egg and drooping over the waters edge. Especially fine is the artist's handling of the stone Narcisuss' reflection in the water.

The Hunt

A panel in wood with inlay in Mother of Pearl Shell featuring a scene drawn from the ancient Egyptian papyrus scenes of the hunt. It fetures the members of the royal family in a hunting scene.

The artist has framed the panel in a border of hieroglyphics done on raw silk.

Anthurium

This is a panel executed on wood using Mother of pearl shell inlay and lacquer work.

The shell has been used as a mosaic and then has been stained with a pale blue and pastel pink glaze

The Tangled Web

This is a Stained Glass panel from Greek mythology, featuring the contest between Arachne and Athena. It shows Arachne, cursed by Athena for her arrogance being turned into a spider, doomed to weave her web forever.
The artist has used dark, somber tones to create an air of doom. She has used traditional Stained Glass and sandblasting techniques to create this panel.

The Tree of Life

This is a Stained Glass panel designed by the artist using traditional stained glass techniques of cutting and soldering using copper and lead came.He has also used the sandblasting technique to engrave the lotus and fish in the water at the base of the tree.The borders very cleverly blend with the main panel design.
The panel bears decals which are engraved with the title and the artsts name.
These are filled with Gold.
